The occlusion valve is used to occlude the scavenge momentarily to build up pressure in the bag for a breath. When released it opens, which is the safe position reducing the chance of barotrauma. Our occlusion valve is made of high-quality acetal plastic and uses dual O-rings for a good seal. The value will fit any 19mm pop-off valve but if you have the larger 22mm port we can include an adaptor at no additional charge.
